1. Purpose of Platform
NairaFX is a peer-driven digital community built for business networking, financial education, and exchanging ideas related to market trends, currency performance, and entrepreneurship. Our platform connects users who may assist one another in navigating financial topics or exploring business collaborations.
Note: NairaFX does not directly engage in or facilitate foreign currency exchange services.
2. No Exchange Service Guarantee
NairaFX does not operate as a licensed financial institution, currency bureau, or money transfer service. We do not hold, transfer, convert, or exchange funds on behalf of any user.
All transactions or exchanges that may arise from user connections are strictly peer-to-peer and at the sole discretion and risk of the parties involved.
3. User Responsibilities
By using this platform, you agree that:
You will only engage with other users within the boundaries of Nigerian law.
You are solely responsible for verifying counterparties, assessing risk, and conducting due diligence;
You will not hold NairaFX liable for any loss, damage, or dispute resulting from any peer-to-peer engagement.
You are responsible for complying with regulatory requirements, including but not limited to anti-money laundering (AML) and tax obligations, in any activity that results from user connections.
4. Indemnification
You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NairaFX, its owners, partners, affiliates, and staff against any loss, claim, liability, or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
Your interactions or transactions with other users;
Your breach of any applicable law or regulation;
Any action or inaction by you within or outside the platform.
5. Disclaimer of Liability
NairaFX is not responsible for:
The accuracy or reliability of user-posted data.
The behavior or intentions of other users;
Any damages, whether direct or indirect, resulting from connections made via this platform.
Our role is limited to providing a communication platform for general discussion of financial topics and opportunities.
6. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
By accessing or using Naira FX, you agree that:
Non-Financial Advisory Disclaimer: Naira FX is a community and informational platform. It does not act as a financial service provider, money transmitter, or forex bureau, and no transaction on this platform constitutes regulated financial advice or services.
Voluntary Peer Interactions: All user engagements and transactions occur on a peer-to-peer basis. Naira FX bears no liability for disputes, losses, or misunderstandings arising from such interactions.
Dispute Resolution: Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with your use of this platform shall be resolved amicably, where possible. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to non-binding mediation, followed, if necessary, by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (CAP A18) Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.
Jurisdiction: These terms shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory.
7. Platform Use
You agree not to:
Use this platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
Impersonate another individual or entity;
Post or transmit any content that violates intellectual property or privacy rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or ban users who breach these terms.
8. Amendments
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without prejudice to applicable consumer protection regulations.
